7. Sanitarp Sewer I,atera.l--Clinton Ave. between 68th & 69th Streets.
notion by Shields, seconded by Rose, that the council suspend the rules
to able H. L. Nehls, 684l~ Clinton Ave. to appear relative to the con-
struction of sanitary sewer lateral on Clinton Avenue from 68th to 69th
St. Carried.
qtr. Nehls appeared representing a group of his neighbors rho had peti-
tioned for sanitary sewer in this location, and stated that they had been
informed that the sewer would not be constructed this year. A check of
the records revealed that I~r. Nehls had been misinformed, and that the
sanitary sewer lateral would be constructed th3.s .year.
8, Grading of Roadway and Boulevards--Group 5.
It being 8:15 P. iii., i~iayor Kittell called for public hear3.ng on Village
Project Nos. 253, 254, 256, 258 and 263.
James Rae, 901 Rae Drive, appeared relative to Village Project Nos.
254 and 256 and objected to their construction. G. R. Luck, 6436 Emerson
Ave. South, appeared before the council and read a petition from eleven
property owners objecting to Village Project Nos. 254 and 2~.
Lotion by Rose, seconded by Wallick, that the petition be accepted
and ordered filed. Carried. C-11.x.13.

of fill so that eventually a street may be built for the diverting of
traffic from Z~ndale Avenue at 65th St. to intersect 66th St. at approx-
imately Rae Drive.
9. Village Project No. 259 Transferred to Oillage Project No. 229.
Motion by Walters, seconded blrtiJallick, that Village Project No. 259
(street surfacing) be disconta.nued as a, project, and that the s~hreets in
Village Project No. 259 be improved as a part of Village Project,~229
(1954 Village Wide Oiling Project) as originally contemplated. Carr3.ed.
