Motion by Shields, seconded by Wallick, that the council accept the bid of

in the amount of `6,280.55, and authorize return of their certified check in the
amount of ~31~..03 upon delivery and acceptance of the equipment. Carried.
8. Bids - 1-Ton Truck.

Anderson Motor Company fora 1-ton truck with dump body iuz the amount of X2,326.22;
authorize return of their certified check in the aunt of X120.37 upan delivery

Several persons fx,om the vicinity of 66th street and Elliot Avenue South appeared
and spoke in favor of the improvement. No persons appeared in opposition.

Motion by Rose, seconded by shields, that the council grant the request of
