Pursuant ~ council action on December 9, 1953., t11e council of the
Village of Richfie3d met as the board of canvass at 4:30 P. M. on ThYrrsday,
December 10, 1953.
Present: Walters, Rose, Shields and Iverson.
Absent: Reller,
Councilman Iverson presided and announced that the order of business.
was canvassing the returns of the ®illage General Election held on Tuesday,
December 8, 1953.
The Clerk presented the affidavit of publicai3.on of the notice of
eIe et3.on, published in the official newspaper on -November 39th and 25th,
1953, which affidavit was examined and found satasfactAry and ordered placed
on file.
The Clerk- then presented the official returns of the General Election
which showed the vote for the f ollow;ng candidates to be as follows
