Pursuant to council. actaon on November 23, 1953, the council of the
Village of Richfield me tin special session in the council chambers of the
Village Hall, 6700 Portland Avenue South at 10:00 A. ~. on Saturday,
November 28, 1953, for the purpose of canvassing -the returns of the
Primary Election held on November 27, 1953.
Present: Walters, Shields and Iverson.
Absent; Rose and Roller.
1. Canvassing of Primary Election Votes.
The Acting Mayor announced that the order of business was the canvass
ing of returns of the P~ Election held on November-28, 1953.
The Clerk presented an Affidavit showing publi.cati~ of the Notice of
Primary Election in the official newspaper, dated November 12, 1953,
which affidavit way examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on
file.
The Clerk then presented the official returns of the Judges and Clerks
of said erection, which showed the vote for following candidates to be
as follows z

After due consideration of said returns, it was moved by Shields, seoond-
e~ by Walters, that the following resolut3.on be adopt~dg that it be spread
in the resolution book and that it be made a part of these minutes.

Poll of votes; Ayes -Walters, Shields, and Iverson. Nays -none.
Absent: Rose and Roller. Carried. This resolut3.on appears as resolution
No. 216 in resolution book No. 1.

Mota.on by Walters, seconded by Shields, that the council adjourn. Carried.
