VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD

Pursuant ~ due call and notice thereof, the council of the Village of
Richfield met in adjourned session in the Village Ha1.1, 6700 Portland Avenue
South at 7 P. M. on Thursday, October 8, 1953.
Present: Walters, Rose, Shields, Iverson and Reller.
Absents None.
1. Assessment Search Fees. '
I~Cotion by Shields, seconded by Iverson that the councilincrease to
~'' X3.00, the fee for special assessment searches, effective October 13, 1953.
~ Carried.
~ ~2. Special Use Permit - Freden.

Motion by Iverson, seconded by Walters, that the council refer to the
Zoning Commission for hearing on October 20, 1~3, the applicat3.on for special
use permit of Lloyd ~&, Freden, 7501 Lyndale Avenue South, for constriction
of a, miniature golf course at 7521 Lyndale Avenue South, and that the clerk
be authorized to advertise such hearing. Carried.
3. Revaluation Ins truc Lion -PAS.
Motion by Walters, seconded by Iverson that the Village Manager be
authorized to negotiate with Public Administration Service, Chicago, Illinois,
on costs of revaluing business property and land, and report to the council
on October 26, 1953. Carried.
4. Bill No. 1953-9 (Budge t ordinance)..
Bill ldo. 1953-9, anti-fled: oRDINAATCE No. 11.03, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING
A BUDGET FOR ~iiE YEAR 1951, ANA LEVYING TAXF.u, was read; said bill being on
file in the office of the Village Clerk.
Motion by Walters' seconded by Iverson, that this const3.tute the second
reading of Bill No. 1953-9.
Poll of votes: Ayes -Walters, Rose, Shields, Iversca~ and Re11e r.
Nays -none.
Motion by Walters, seconded by Shields, that Bi11 No. 1953-9 be adopted;
that it be published 3n the official newspaper; that it be spread in the
ordinance book and that it be made a part of these minutes. Carried.

Nays -none. Councilman Rose asked that the records show that he voted aye,
although he was opposed to raising salaries of the councilmen, manager and
clerk.
