Pursuant to due call and notice thexeof, -the council of the Village of Richfield
met in adjourned session in the council chambers of the Village Hall on Wednesday, ~
February 11, 1953, openeing at 6:30 P.M.
Members Present: Walters, Rose, Shields, Iverson and Keller
Members Absent: None
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keller and a discussion of the
proposed Carnival ®rdinance was held wi th several members of the Fire Relief
Association. Provisions of the ordinance were discussed separately and collectively,
and the Village Attoa~y was instructed, ~.thout vote, to draw amendments to
the ordinance, Councilman Shields was excused from further attendance at this
meeting.
1. Bond Sale, Change of Data.
Motion by Iverson, seconded by Walters, that the following resolution
be adopted, that it be spread in the Rssolut3.on Book, and it be made a
part of these minutes

poll of Votes: Ayes # Walters, Rose, Iverson and Keller. Nays-- None.
Councilman Shields was absent. Carried. This resolution appears as Resolution
No. 105 in Resolution Book No.l,
2. Manager Directed to Make an Inspection.
Motion by Rose, seconded by Walters, that the Village Manager be
instructed to make andinspection of proper~r hn the vincinity of
Lyndale Ave. and 73rd Street because of a reputed unsanitary condition.
Carried.
3. Allow Claim of Fred C. Keller
Motion by Walters, seconded by Rose, that the claim of Mayor Fred C.
Keller in the amount of $85.80 for expenses in connection wi th his trip
to New York be allowed and ordered paid Carried.( Check No. 21.~3.j
