Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, an adjourned meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of -Richfield was duly held at the Village Ba1.1 Monday, August }~,

Motion by Walters, seconded by Shields, that the reading of the minutes of
the previous meeting be deferred until the next meeting. Carried.
2. Acceptance of Reports.
Motion by Shields, seconded bar halters, that the following reports be received
and placed on files

A letter was received from the Office of Rant Stabilization announcing that
rent control iu the communitjr wi]l cease September 30, unless some a ctian to con- °
tinue such ontrol is initiated by the council. Motion by halters, seconded by
Shields,° that the letter be placed on file. Carried.
5. Acceptance of Street Work
A. Motion by halters, seconded by Shields that the following resolution be adopted,
that it be spread in the Resolution Book, and be made a part of these minutes:

Motion by Walters, seconded by Shields, that the bond of the Finance-
director-clerk-measurer, in the a~uat of X25,000.00 be approved, subject to
final approval by the village attorney. Carried.
12. Advisory Committee
The Courieil met with the newly appointed Bt~.i.3.ding, Electrical and P~e-
chanieal Codes Advisory Committee. ~9ayor Keller opened the joint meetings and
appointed Don H. Bruer as temporary chairman until such a time as the committee
elects Sts-own chairman.
