Parsuant to due call and notice thereof an adjourned.meeting of the Vil-
lage Council of the Village of Riehfield~ Nkinnesota, was duly heYd at the Village
Hall 3xi said village on Fridays April 25, 1952, at 7:~ otcloek P,E,
members present: Keller, Iverson, ~indeberg~ Shields and Walters
~9embers absent: alone
A propoe'ed contract betareen the Village of 8i.chfield and G. A!, Orr Engi-
neering Company, a co-parfi~iership consis~.g of G. ~'. Orr and. d, E, Schelen,
presented to the Council for approval. Said contract related toibe providing of
engineering services to the Village of Richfield ixa planning and constructing of
a sanitary sewer system for the Village of Richfield, such system to be connected
to the M~.nneapolis Sanitary sewer system. '
Trnstse Shields introduced the following .resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION
KESOI-IITZON AUZfiORIZING EXECIITiON ~' -CONTRACT
FOR E6TGINEERTNG SERVICES FOR SANITARY SEWER SYS~3
BE IT RESOyVEY~ by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield ~~1irnesota,
as follows:
1. 9~a.t the proposed contract be-I~een the Village of Richfield and G. ~!. Orr
Engineering Compariy~ a co-partriership consisting of G. N. Orr and F. E, Schelen~
providing for the engineering services to the Village of Richfield in planning
and constructing of a sanitary sewer system for the Village, such system to be con-
nected with the Minneapolis Sanitary sewer system, be given Number 130 and placed
on file.
92. mat it is determined to be necessary and expedient to the public health
convenience and general welfare that such contract be entered into by the Village
of Richfield.
3. `that said confs'act is hereby approved and accepted by the Village -Council
of the Village of Richfield, and that the Mayor and acting Mager are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said contract by and on behalf of the. Village
of Richfield and the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the Vi.l«
lags Seal thereto. e
Txu,stee Walters seconded the motion and upon roll call, all members of the
Council voted in favor thereof whereu~n said motion was declared carried.
A proposed contract between the Village of Richfield and Charles B. Ada2ns
was presented to the Council for approvals the contract providing for designation
of Adams i~erinel at 6340 L~ndale Avenue South as the Village dog kennel and desig-
nating Adams as poundkeeper of the Village.
