The Council of the Village of Richfield met in special session on Friday, larch 2nd
1951_for the purpose of establishing gay ranges and for setting salaries for the
Public officials amd employees, and such other business as could properly
come before the Council. The President called the meeting to order.
A request from the Red Owl Store, on 66th and Nicollet, was read asking per~a3.ssion
to connect on to the Village Storm Sewer systems in'ord®r t~i'at ~Yiey might dispose of
their unpolluted waste water. It was moped by Gordon Bowen and seconded by Ernest
Iverson that the request be grainted'with these provisionsi (1.) That the Red 0~r1 Store
secur® the inspection and approval of the consulting Engineer ~n~l the'Plumbirtg
Inspector on these connections: (2.) They the Red 0~1 Store assume all__present and f
future liabilities both in connection, and ma3:ntenance~of sewer line and replace
the street to its original condition. Carried.
