Special meeting January 22,1951
The Council met in special session at the call. of Mr. Harlow acting Village
Manager.All members were present. Mr. Harlox was appointed to act as clerk
pro~etem.

The administrative engineer submitted plats of street grades in Ralph ~ilnerss
192nd addition for Council approval. Moved by Littlejohn seconded by Boren that
the engineer's report on grades in said Addition be accepted. Carried.

Motion to accept the engineers report on the~quant'ities of materials crushed

Boren reported: on Liquor store lights.He suggested that no action°be tal~en until
~~present lights need to be replaced.

The Mayor reported ca11f from C.C. Ludwig regarding Richfield's position on bill
toextend Liquor store orognership pouter,, referendums, to all villages. Ludwig asked
1if Village objects to referendum provision, Motion to instruct clerk to write
~/Haeg,Bergerud and ~Qi:ller Rural Hennepin County legislators a letter of thanks
for work that-has been done on behalf of the constitutionality of municipal
liquor stores. Carries.

Cdr. Harlox announced the appointment if Clayton LeI'evre as village attorney to
~~~succeed Ralph Lee,resignated effective as of Feb, 1st 1g51. Moved by Littlejohn
- seconded by Iverson that appointment be confirrssed. Carried.
