RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISIONS OF 1976
BUDGET OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND TRANSFER
OF CONTINGENCY FUNDS ,
WHEREAS, Resolutions Numbers 5420 and 5591 appropriated funds for
personal services, other expenses and capital outlays for each department
of the City for the year 1976, and
WHEREAS, the City Charter, Chapter 7, Seetion 7.09 gives the council
authority to transfer unencumbered appropriation balances from one office,
department or agency to another within the same fund at the request of the
City Manager, and "
WFIEI:EAS, the City IvIanager has requested a revisian of the 1976 budget
appropriations in accordance with Chart~:r z°evisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City o~
Richfield, Minnesota as follows:
1 , That the 1976 appropriatians for each department of the general fund
be revised as follows;

2. 't'hat there is hereby authorized a transfer in the amount of $31, 000
from .the 1976 contingency to a reserve for remaining 1976 compensation settlements .

provisions of this resolution,
