RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE
LOTS 21 AND 23, BLOCK 14, NEW FORD TOWN
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has passed an ordinance to sell certain
_ real property, pursuant to and in furtherance of the New Home Program here-
tofore adopted by the City of Richfield and the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority (HRA.), said real property being described as folloras: Lots 21
and 23, Block 1~~, New £'ord Town, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, thc~ Housing and Redevelopment Authority authorized the accept-
ance of bids from adjacent property owners for the purchase of the above-
described property from the HRA on October 25, 1976; and

WHEREAS, a bid was received for Lot 21 from the adjacent property
owner, F. Rogers, in the amount of $678.00; and
WHERF~IIS, a bid Maas received for Lot 23 from the adjacent property
owner, D. Whipps, in the amount of $890.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
:• Richfield as follows:
., 1. It is hereby determined that the above described. lots are no
longer needed for any municipal purpose and that the same may
be sold.
2. The above-described bids are hereby accepted. The City Manager
is hereby authorized and directed to take such action as may be
necessary to give effect to~such acceptance .and to sell the above-described
property in accordance with, said bids.
3. The net proceeds from the sale of such lots shall be paid over
and transferred to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of
the City of Richfield, Minnesota to provide funding for its new home program.
Passed by the City Council 'of the City of Richfield this 27th day of
December, 1976.
