WHEREAS,
RESOLUTION AIITHORIZING REVISION OF 1976 BUDGET OF VARIOUS
p);PARTMENTS
Resolution No. 5420 appropriated funds for personal services,
other expenses and capital outlays for each department of the
city for the year 1976; and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos, 5450, 5467, 5478, 5485., 5492, 5504, 5520, 5527
' and 5531 made appropriations from the 1976 Contingency Account
to various departments; and
WIiEREAS, The City Charter,. Chapter 7, Section 7.09, gives the council
authority to transfer unencumbered appropriation balances from
one office, department, or agency to another within the same fund
at the request of the city manager; and
WHEREAS, The city manager has reruested a revision of the 1976 budget
appropriations in accordance with Charter provisions and as
detailed in th.e proposed 1977 budget document; and
tdHEREAS Federal General Revenue Sharing regulations require that the use
of Federal General Revenue Sharing funds be appropriated in the
same manner that the city would ordinarily appropriate its own
general revenues,
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by°the city council of the City of Richfield
s follows: °
Section 1, That the 1976 appropriations for each department of the General Fund
and the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund be revised as follows:
