RESOLUTION NO. 5589
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL
OF CITY EQUIPMENT
~rVHEFtEAS, on August 9, 1976 the Richfield City Council authorized
the advertisement for bids for the sale of Fire Engine No. 3, and
ti'VHETtE.AS, one bid was received in the amount of $2, 000, and
WI~EREP.S, a minimum bid of $3, S00 was established for sale of this
equipment, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable for the city to dispose of this equipment and
transfer revenues from this ale to the reserve fund for acquisition or fire
equipment.
NCV`T, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rir-hfield as follows:
1. That the formal bid in the amount of $2, 000 submitted in response
to the advertiser~~ent far bids be rejected.
2. That a negotiated offer of $2, 000 for purchase of the equipment
be approved.
. =That the revenues from sale of this piece of equipment be
transferred to the reserve account established in the central
garage and equipment fund for replacement of fire equipment.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 27th day of
