RESOLUTION N0. 5587
RESOLUTTON IN SUPPORT OF THE
"PLAN FOR THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COUNCIL"
OF HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield has reviewed
the Plan for the Emergency Medical Services Council of Hennepin County,
and,
W~h±,R.EAS, the City Council recognizes the need to better coordinate
the existing emergency medical ambulance resources within Hennepin County,
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes this need as a county-wide
problem, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has set a high priority for the delivery
of quality emergency medical assistance to the citizens of Richfield, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to assure this service as the
maximum cost benefit to all citizens of Hennepin County.
NOI-;, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the C~.ty Council of the City
of P.ichfield does hereby •adopt a resolution of support for the Plan for
the Emergency Medical Services Council of Hennepin County. This Plan will
seek to more effectively coordinate the efforts now expended individually
by the four county emergency medical hospitals, and the public and private
a!nbularce resources within Hennepin County.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, this 27th day
of September, 1976.
