RESOLUTION N0. 5467 ~ '
RESOLUTION AUTHOP.IZING CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION
OF THE 1976 BUDGET TO THE UNALLOCATED DIVISION-
WHERE'S, resolution No:. 5420 appropriated funds for personal services,
. other services -and capital outlays for each department of the-City for the
year 1976, and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the generaf fund for
various purposes including salary adjustments, unanticipated services and
emergency purposes, and
WHEREAS, during 1975 the Minnesota State Legislature enacted a law
which would allow municipalities to contribute to the Animal Humane Society
and it appears desirable to adjust the 1976 budget appropriation to allow
for a City contribution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota that the sum of $500 be transferred from the contingency appropriation
of..the general fund to the following department;
