RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO E, WEIKLE AND SONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF A STORAGE FACILITY FOR THE RICHFIELD ICE-ARENA
CITY PROJECT N0. 664

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows:
1. That it .is hereby determined that the bid of E. Weikle and Sons is the lowest
bid by a responsible bidder for the construction of a storage facility .for the
Richfield Ice Arena, City Project No. 664.
2. That the bid of E. Weikle and Sons for the construction of a storage facility of
the above referenced project, at the price contained in their proposal of October 8,
1975, with an estimated construction cost of $22,625 is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between .E. Weikle and Sons and the City of Richfield
be given clerk's .file no.9672 and be placed on file.
4. That said proposed contract for the construction said storage facility of said _____ _.
City Project is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor and City Manager are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said contract for or on behalf of the City of
Richfield and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to affix the city seal
thereto.
5. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract .shall be charged to the
appropriate Project Fund.
6. That the corporate surety bond in the sum of the estimated contract price which
accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
7. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents to
the unsuccessful bidders .upon-the execution of said proposed contract.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 14th day of October, 1975.
