RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE
CITY OF RICHFIELD.
WHEREAS, Resolution Noo 4903 adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the City of
Richfield which consisted of goals and policy statements, map and text information
entitled "The Comprehensive Plan for the City of Richfield","dated January 15,
1973, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the existing goals and policies
and formulated amendments to them, and .
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public. hearing on the proposed amended
goals and policies and recommended adopting the amended goals and policies to the
city council on August 26, 1975, and
WHEREAS, the city council held public hearing on September 8, 1975 and con
sidered the amended comprehensive plan adopted by the Planning Commission and
has before it for consideration such plan with amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield
that the document consisting of "Goals and Policy Statements a Comprehensive Plan
for the City of Richfield" dated September 8, 1975, is hereby adopted•as the
official-comprehensive plan of the City of Richfield subject to the following
-specific amendments:
1. Under Land Use Goal, Item No. 2 be restated as follows: "To insure
• that land uses with contiguous bordering property complement each
other"
2. Under Transportation Goals, Item No. 5 should include "the county".
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this plan is subject to periodic review and
amendments by the Planning Commission and the City Council from time to time
as may be found to be necessary and in a manner provided by law.
Passed by the Gity Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of
September, 1975.
