RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO B. E. ENTERPRISES,
INC., 85 3RD AVENUE SOUTHEAST, NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THIRD MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE AT 64~+~+ PENN AVENUE SOUTH
CITY PROJECT N0. 675

• BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of B. E. Enterprises, Inc.
` is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for the construction of a third municipal
liquor store at 6~+~+~+ Penn Avenue South, City Prod ect No . 675 .
2, That the bid of B. E. Enterprises, Inc. for the construction of the ab~he
referenced project at-the price contained in their proposal of June 6, 1975
a base bid of $167,250.00, and the addition of Alternate #2 in the amount of
$2,500.00, for a total amount of $169,750.00 is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between B. E. Enterprises, Inc. and the City of
Richfield be given Clerk's File No. 9632 ,and be placed on file. That said proposed
contract for the construction of said city project is hereby approved and adopted
and the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract
for or in behalf of the City of Richfield and the Clerk is authorized and directed
to affix the city seal thereto.
~+. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the construction pro3ect. _
' S. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the contract price which
accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
