RESOLUTION PLACING PARKING RESTRICTIONS
ON THE SENIOR CITIZEN/COMMUNITY CENTER
BUILDING LOT AT 7000 NICOLLET AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the City Council is concerned that all citizens of the
community shall have reasonable and equal access to the public parking
lot located at the Senior CitizenjCommunity Center Building, 7000
Nicollet Avenue South in Richfield, and,
WHEREAS, it has come to the Council's attention that those indi-
viduals who wish to use the Senior Citizen/Community Center Building
have-been unable to find parking-space in the lot,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
' 1. The Engineering Division of the Public Works
Department is directed to place sufficient
numbers of signs in appropriate locations in
the Senior Citizen/Community Center Building
lot which contain in substance the following
language:
"NO PARKING
Between 1 AM and 8:45 AM '
Weekdays"
2, When and after such signs shall have heen erected •
by the Engineering Division it shall be.a violation
of the parking ordinances of the City of Richfield •
to park during the period for which parking is
prohibited. •
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 12th
day of May, 1975.
