RESOLUTION RELATING TO .RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING

242+ Morten St. , Torrance,. Calif.
Location: 2208 West 66th Street
Use: Taco Be11 Restaurant
WHEREAS; Taco Bell, 2424 Morten Street, Torrance, California, had an
off-.street. parking agreement with the City of Richfield, relating to 2208
West 66th Street, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 2159
and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Safeco Insurance Company,
Seattle, Washington, in the amount of $5,300.00, and
WHEREAS, Taco Bell has complied with the provisions of said agreement and
the Safeco Insurance Company of America now seeks to be relieved of any further
obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Taco Bell to
continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the-City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
That the city manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the
Safeco Insurance Company, Seattle, Washington for any and all acts of Taco Bell,
committed ar incurred in violation of Contract No. 2159 on and after the 12th
day of May, 1975.
Adopted by the City. Council `of the City of Richfield this 12th day of May,
1975.
