1975-5360r386 RESOLUTION N0. 5360 RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORTS AND CALLING HEARINGS ON 1976 PERMANENT STREET IMPROVEMENT, ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTS AND APPURTENA~'VCES THERETO CITY PROJECT N0. 67~+ Areas Nos. 10 and 11 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted on the 10th day of February, 1975 reports were prepared by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) with reference to permanent street surfacing, ornamental street lights, concrete curb and gutter and appurtenacnes thereto and these reports were received by the Council on May 12, 1975• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota: 1. That the Council will consider the improvement of the districts hereinafter described in accordance with the report and will consider the assessment of the improvements, the assessable areas being as follows: Street Improvement District No. 10. Bounded on the north by W. 66th Street, east by Penn Avenue South, south by the North Service Drive of I-~+9~+ and on the west by the west city limits (Xerxes Avenue South) excluding W. 66th Street, Penn Avenue South and W. 76th Street. Assessable Area. Property abutting improved streets in Street Improvement Area No. 10, bounded on the north by W. 66th Street, east by Penn Avenue South, south by North Service Drive of I-x+91+ and on the west by west city limits (Xerxes Avenue South}. Street Improvement District No. 11. Bounded on the north by the 62nd Street Crosstown, on the east by I-35W, on the south by W. 66th Street and on the west by west city limits (Xerxes Avenue South) excluding W. 66th Street, Penn Avenue South and Xerxes Avenue South) Assessable Area. Property abutting improved streets in Street Improvement Area No. 11, bounded on the north by 62nd Street Crosstown, on the east by I-35W, on the south by West 66th Street and on the west by west city limits (Xerxes Avenge South) for all or a portion ppf the cost of the improvements at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $4,1+10,700.00. 2. A public hearing will be held on Monday, October 6, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the city hall, 6700 Portland Avenue South. The Clerk shall give published notice of such hearings on the improvements as required by law. 3. Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the final survey work and the preparation of plans and specificatigns on said project.
