RESOLUTION SUPPORTING HF 150 ANDS 1381
WHEREAS, the disposal of cans and bflttles continues to be a growing
concern, and .
WHEREAS, the recycling of these materials helps to improve and protect
our environment, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield is very concerned about our ecology,
and supports the recycling of these materials, and
WHEREAS, the operation of recycling centers although ecologically
rewarding, can be a financial strain,
i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield that the Richfield City Council supports House File No. 150 and its
companion Senate File No. 1381 which provides for continuation of grants for
assisting resource recovery, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of.the City of Richfield
supports enactment of HF 150 and SF 1381 for the purpose of granting additional
funds for the continuation of recycling centers .
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 28th day of
April, 1975.
