4~JHERtAS, on Uctober 1!i, 1914, •the city council authorized initiation of the
Roosevelt Park Improvement Project, as per the 1974-1979 Capital Trnprovernents Program,
including negotiation of architectural agreements with r,rauer and Associates for site
work and witir Richard Schwarz Associates for shelter design services, and
W1iER't"AS, on October 2b, 1974, the city council authorized the {Mayor and City
Manager to execute the agreement with trauer and Associates for Roosevelt Park site
improvements -and the agreement with Richard Sci~warz Associates for Roosevelt Park
building improvements, and
WF~EREAS, on ~dovember 12, 1974, the city council approved second reading of
bill .Jo. 1974-23 Transitory Ordinance Flo. 16.26 including ~175,UOu appropriated for
the Roosevelt Park Improvement Project, and
WHEREAS, on January 27, 1975, the city council approved preliminary plans for
site development and authorized fianl plans, and
WHEREAS, on January 27, 1975, the city council approved preliminary plans for
the park shelter and authorizeu final plans, and
Wi•IEREAS, on February lU, 1975, the city council approved second reading of
Bill i~do. 1975-5 Transitory Ordinance X10. 16.29 including ~175,UU0 appropriated for
the Poosevelt Park Improvement Project, in effect ordering the improvement of
Roosevelt Park at a total cost of `~35i1,i~UU, and
4JEiEREAS, 3rauer and Associates and Richard Schwarz Associates have presented
suci~ final pans and specifications to the city council for approval,
JOW, THEREFORE, GE IT RESOLVE) by the city council of the City of Pichfield,
iYiinnesota, as follows:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's File .Jo.
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the city manager on May 9, 1975
at 11:OU AM in the council chambers of city hall and that such bids will be
tabulated and presented to the city council for award on i~1ay 12, 197.
3. That all bids shall be filed with t1~e city clerk not later than 11:00 APB on
the 9tli day of f lay, 1975, and that s•ai d bids wi 11 be opened and read aloud
at that time.
4. That the city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids
on said improvements as required by law.
