RESOLUTION NO. 5344
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ENACTMENT OF -
SF1391ANDHF1369
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has previously received a grant from
Hennepin County to help finance development of the Wood Lake Nature Center
in .Richfield, .and
WHEREAS, the Wood Lake Nature Center presently serves a large number
of Hennepin County residents who do not live in the City of Richfield, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield is desirous of continuing:to provide ~a '~ ~ •.
high level of quality service ~at Wood Lake Nature Center for' both Richfield-
residents and others who wish to enjoy the area, and ~ .'
WHEREAS the City of Richfield has requested consideration from Hennepin
County for additional funds to assist in the operation of the Wood Lake Nature
Center,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield that the City Council supports enactment of HF I369 and SF 1391 for
the purpose of granting to Hennepin County the authority to make additional
grants to the City of Richfield to assist in the financing of the Wood Lake
Nature Center.
