RESOLUTION NO. 5334
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE PURCHASING
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA

WHEREAS, the city council endorses the purchase of supplies and materials
at the most advantageous price to the city, and
WHEREAS , competitive bidding encourages competitive prices , and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 of 1969 authorizes the State and its
political subdivisions to enter into agreements of this nature;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVES that the City of Richfield authorize the
City Manager to enter into a cooperative purchasing agreement with the State
for the purchase of various supplies, commodities and equipment.
BE IT RESOLVET~ that the city council hereby authorize the City Manager to
execute this agreement with the State of Minnesota .
