RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SEASONAL LOAD
RESTRICTIONS ON CTTy STREETS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, as follows:
Seasonal load restricts^.~ns are hereby adopted, prohibiting the operation of
any vehicles upon any street or highway of the city, if suoh ~rehscles have an
axle weight in excess of 4 tons.
1. "Street or Highway" means the entire width between the boundary Lines of
any road, street, highway, al.l.ey, cr any other place open for the operation of
motor ~.rehicles by the public.
2. Such restrictions shall be for. the period from March 20th to May 15th,
1975.
~~ The city adm%nistration i.s authorized. and directed to pos+., such load
restrictions as required by the provisions of Section 4.06 of the Ordinance Code
of the city.
~+. This resolution is adopted pursuant to Section 4.06 of the Ordsna:nce Code
of the city. In addition to the exceptions pro~rided for in said section, such load
restriotions shall not be applicable to school buses and buses operated by the
Metropolitan Transs.t Commission.
