RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TO BE RECEIVED ON MARCH 20, 1975 FOR
PERMANENT STREET SURFACING, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND
APPUR'T'ENANCES THERETO.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5196 passed by the City Council on the 13th day of May,
1974, a preliminary report; for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb and gutter and
appurtenances thereto for City Project. No. 667, District No. 8, by Orr - Schelen- Mayeron
& Associates, Inca (Consulting Engineers) was so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5207, passed by the City Council, on the 10th
day of June, 1974, a public hearing on said improvement was so ordered to be held on the
19th day of August, 1974, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5211, passed by the City Council on the 24th day of June,
1974, the preliminary report so ordered was received and the public hearing date was
confirmed, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5225, passed by the City Council on the 19th day of
August, 1974, Orr- Schelen- Mayeron & Associates, Inc- was so ordered to prepare plans
and specifications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for City Project No.
667, District No. 8, as outlined in said Resolution No. 5196, and has presented such
plans and specifications to the council for approval, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution. No. 5237 passed by the City Council can the 9th day of
September, 1974, a preliminary report for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb and
gutter and appurtenances thereto for City Project No, 667A, a part of District No. 12,
by Orr - Schelen- Mayeron & Associates, Inc. tConsulti_ng Engineers) was so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to ReSolia_tion No. 5242, passed by the City Council on the 23rd day
of September, 1974, the preliminary report so ordered was received and a public hearing
on said improvement was so ordered to be held on the 28th day of October, 1974, and
WHEREAS, by Resol,),tion No. 5269,passed by the City Council. on the 28th day of
October, 1974, Orr - Schelen - Mayeron & Associates, Inc. was so ordered to prepare plans
and specifications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for City Project
No. 667A, a part of District No, 12, as outlined in said Resolution No. 5237 and has
presented such plans and specifi ^ations to the council for approval, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No, 5270, passed by the City Council on the 28th day of
October, 1974, a preliminary :report for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb and
gutter and appurtenances thereto for City Project No. 667B, a. part of District No. 1.2,
by Orr- Schelen- Mayeron & Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) was so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5282, passed by the City Council on the 9th day
of December, 1974, the preliminary report so ordered was - received and a public hearing
on said improvement was so ordered to be held cn the 13th day of January, 1975, and

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5297, passed by the City Council on the 13th day of
January, 1975, Orr- Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. was so ordered to prepare plans
and specifications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for City Project
No. 667B, a part of District No. 12, as outlined in said Resolution No. 5270 and
has presented such plans and specifications to the council for approval.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's File
No. 96o4.
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on
March 20, 1975 at 11:00 a.m. in the council chambers of the city
hall and that such bids will be tabulated and presented to the
City Council for award on March 24, 1975•
3. That all Ibids shall be filed with the City Clerk not later than
11:00 a.m. on the 20th day of March, 1975, and that said bids will
be opened and read aloud at that time.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise
for bids on said improvement as required by law.
