RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS .,AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TO BE RECEIVED ON MARCH 7, 1975 FOR
PERMANENT STREET SURFACING, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND
APPURTENANCES THERETO.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5-96 passed by the City Council on the 13th day of May,
1974, preliminary reports for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb and gutter and
appurtenances-thereto for City Project No. 667, Districts Nos< 7 and 9, by Orr-Schelen-
Mayeron & Associates, Inc. Consulting Engineers) were so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5207, passed by the City Council on the 10th
day of June, 1974, a public hearing on said improvements was so ordered to be held on
the-19th day of August, 1974, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5211 passed by the City Council on the 24th day of June,
1974, the preliminary reports so ordered were .received and the .public hearing date was
confirmed, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5225, passed by the City Council on the 19th day of
August, 1974, Orr-ScYi~len-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. was so ordered to prepare plans
and~specfications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for Districts
7 and 9, C. P. No. 667, as outlined in said Resolution No. 5196, and has presented such
plans :and specifications to the council for approval,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. That sash plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's
File No.
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on
March 7,.1975 at 11:00 a.m. in the council chanbers of the city
hall and that such bids will, be ta.bu.lated and presented. to the
City Council for award on March 10, 1.975.
3. That all bids shall be filed with the City Clerk not later than
11:00 a.m. on the 7th day of March 1975, and that said bids will
be opened and read aloud at that time.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to ad~rertise
for bids on said improvement as required by law.
5. That the omission and deletion of those parts of Districts 7 and 9
described as 78th Street, Pleasant Avenue South to Portland Avenue
South and the West Service Drive I-35W north of 75th Street to 69th
Street is hereby approved.
