RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Crosstown Marine
317 Excelsior Avenue W.
Loc: 62+5 Lyndale Avenue S.
Use: Retail Sales of Boats, Outboard
Motors, Motorcycles and Snowmobiles
WHEREAS, Crosstown Marine, 317 Excelsior Avenue West, Hopkins, Minnesota, had an
off-street parking agreement- with the City of Richfield relating to 621+5 Lyndale Avenue
South, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 2105 and which contract was
guaranteed bya bond~of the'Reliance Insurance Company, Philad~lphia,Pennsylvania, in
the amount of $5,050.00, and
WHEREAS, Crosstown Marine has complied with the provisions of said agreement and
the Reliance Insurance Company, now seeks to be relieved of any further obligation under
said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Crosstown Marine to
continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, as
follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Reliance
Insurance Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for any and all acts .of the Crosstown
Marine committed or incurred in violation of Contract No. 2105, on and after the 13th
day,-of January, 1975»
