RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING HEARING ON JANUARY 13, 1975 ON PERMANENT STREET
SURFACING, ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING AND APPURTENANCES

WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted on the 28th day of October,
197+, a report has been prepared by OrrmSchelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. (Consulting
Engineers) with reference to permanent street surfacing, ornamental street lights,
concrete curb and gutter and appurtenances thereto and this report was received by the
council on December 9, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the Council will consider the improvement of the district hereinafter
described in accordance with the-report and will consider the assessment of the property
hereinafter described, for benefits from the making of such improvements, the assessable
area being as follows:

Property-abutting improved streets in the area bounded on the north by
66th Street, east by West Pef_easant Avenue, south by 68th Street, and west
by Lyndale Avenue.
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements at an estimated total cost of the
improvements of $189,120.00.
2. A public hearing will be held on l~~nday, January 13, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers of the city hall and the Clerk shall give published notice of such
hearing and .improvement as .required '~y law.
