RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIB AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO
ARTEKA INCORPORATED
FOR SITE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE SWIMMING POq~.
CITY PROJECT N0. 663

BE IT RESOLVED by the. City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That at the bid opening on September 4, 1974, 11:00 A.M., C.D.S.T., in the.
Conference Room of Richfield City Hall sealed bids for the site improvements of the
Richfield Swimming Pool were opened and read aloud by .the City Manager.
2. That the lowest bid by a responsible bidder meeting specifications, including
base bid and selected add alternates A, B, C, and E, is Arteka Incorporated.
3. That the base bid plus selected alternates of Arteka Incorporated for the above
referenced project, at the price contained in their pra'posal of September 4, 1974,
with an estimated construction cost of $77,996.20, is hereby accepted.
4. That the proposed contract between Arteka .Incorporated and the City of Richfield
be given Clerk's File No. 9576 and be placed on file. That said proposed contract
of said city project is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor and Manager are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for or on behalf of the City of
Richfield and the Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the city seal thereto.
5. That payment to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the project fund.
6. That the corporate surety bond in the sum of the estimated contract price which.
accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
7. The city clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents to
the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
