RESOLUTION N0. 5237
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON PERMANENT STREET
SURFACING, ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTS AND APPURTENANCES THERETO.
CITY PROJECT N0. 667A
(Portion of Area No. 12)
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
A portion of Street Improvement Area No. 12. That area bounded
on the south by 70th Street, west by Lyndale Avenue, north by 68th
Street and east by West Pleasant Avenue
by permanent street surfacing, ornamental street lighting and appurtenances thereto
and to assess abutting lots and parcels of-land in the City of Richfield for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the proposed improvements be referred to Orr--Schelen-Mayeron & Assoc-
iates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed to report
to'the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way,
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area to be assessed, and as
to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the improvement listed in this resolution shall. hereafter be known as
City Project No. 667A.
3. That the cost for preliminary work sha11 be paid from the Construction Fund,
costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the construction of
this project
