RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PERMANENT
STREET CONSTRUCTION AND APPURTENANCES THERETO FOR CITY PROJECT
N0. 657A AND ORDERING WORK TO BE DONE BY CHANGE ORDER TO CITY
PROJECT N0. 657, CONTRACT N0. 2.1.7.1, NORTHWEST BITUMINOUS CO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows e
1. It is hereby determined to proceed forthwwith with the construction of
permanent street su~°facing and appurtenances thereto for City Project No. 657A, a
part of Street Improvement District No. 7; that, area bounded on the north by 73rd
S~reet, west by East Pleasant Avenue, south by 7~+th. Street and east by Portland
Avenueo
2. Plans and specifications for permanent street construction. City Project
No. 657A, presented to the City Council on the 2~th day of June, 197+, are hereby
approved.
3. WHEREAS, permanent street construction, concerete curb and gutter and
appurtenances thereto is now unde~° construction in Districts Nos. 6 and 13, City
Project No. 657, and it is hereby determined to construct this permanent street
surfacing by ordering the same to be done pursuant to Contract 1Vo. 2171, the
existing contract with Northwest Bituminous Company, :Inco, by Change Order at an
estimated addition t,o the coat+:ract ~n the amount of $26,705,50.
