WHEREAS, the fol:lowi.ng c:onstructian work was performed during the year .1973:
Concrete sidewalk. construction in the following areas:
City Project Nvo 650, Area No~ 2~
West side of Cedar Avenue from 400' No of 67th Street to 1.46' So
of 67th Street and from 68th Street to Diagonal Boulevard
City Project Noo 650, Area Noe 3a
North side of 78th. Street from Portland Avenue to 363' East of
Portland Avenue
City Pro j ert No 0 650 , Area No >14 0
West side of Cedar Avenue from 63rd Street to 66th Street
and
WHEREAS, the city share of costs have been paid i,n the sum of $25,700°00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the Gity of Richfield
as follows:
1, That the cost of sidewalk constructa~on in the above described areas
to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 50% of the
total cost, or $12,85000, and therefore this sum. wi11 be assessed
against privately owned property `benefited thereby,
2. That said assessment shall, run for a period of 5 years and include
interest at the rate of 8% per annumm
3 a The city c1Frk shall forthwith eal,r,.~1.at~e the proper amount to be assessed.
