RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDTNG CONTRACT
TO KVALSTEN ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR PARKING LOT
LIGHTING FOR RICHFIELD ICE ARENA
CITY PnOJECT NO, 664
BE TT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota as
follows:
1 . That it is hereby determined that the bid of Kvalsten Electric Company,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder
meeting specifications for parking lot lighting at the Richfield Ice Arena .
2. That the bid of Kvalsten Electric Company, at the price contained in
their proposal of June ],8, 1974, with an estimated construction cost of
$7, 277 is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between Kvalsten Electric Company and the
City of Richfield be given Clerkps File No. aril beplaced on file.
That said proposed contract is hereby approved and adopted and the
Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract for or on behalf of the City of Richfield and the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to affix the city seal thereto.
4. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be
charged against the Protect Fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract
price which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful' bidders upon the execution of said
proposed contract.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 24th
