1974-5205r207 RESOLUTION N0. 5205 RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR C. P. No. 650 WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1,973 Permanent streets in the following areas: Street Improvement District No. 2. That area bounded on the north by 66th Street, west by 12th Avenue, south by Diagonal Boulevard and east by Highway 36; also including Cedar Avenue from Diagonal Boulevard to 77th Street and the north service drive of Highway #~+9~+ from 77th Street to 12th Avenue and excepting 66th Street, 12th Avenue and Diagonal Boulevard. Street Improvement District No. 3. That area bounded on the north by 72nd Street, west by Portland Avenue, south by Highway #x+94 and east by 12th Avenue, excepting Portland Avenue, Highway #~+9~+ and 12th Avenue. Street Improvement District No. ~+. That area bounded on the north by 76th Street, west by Penn Avenue, south by Highway #49~+ and east by Highway 35W, excepting 76th Street, Penn Avenue, Highway #~+9~+ and Highway 35W. Street Improvement District No. 5_. That area bounded on the north by 66th Street, west by Portland Avenue, south by 72nd Street and east by 12th Avenue, excepting 66th Street, Portland Avenue and 12th Avenue. Street Improvement District No.14. That area bounded on the north by 62nd Street, west by 11th Avenue, east by 23rd Avenue and south by 66th Street, excepting part of 62nd and part of 66th Street. and WHEREAS, the city share of costs have been paid in the sum of'$~,880,231.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield as follows: 1. That the cost of permanent street construction i.n the above described areas to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20~ of the total cost, or $~,353,g79.09 and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately owned prope~t~y benefited thereby 2. That said assessment shall. run for a per%od of 20 years and include interest at the rate of 8~ psr annum. 207A Resolution No, 5205 3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. ~+.
