RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield serves as the sponsoring agency for
the Richfield Youth Service Bureau (the Storefront) , and
WHEREAS, the Richfield Youth Service Bureau has demonstrated suc-
cess as a youth counseling and referral program, and
WHEREAS, the city council acknowledges that the exceptional quality
of the staff has been critical to the success of the Richfield Youth Service
Bureau, and
WHEREAS, John W. Curran, Jr. has served as Director of the Richfield
Youth Service Bureau since its beginning in 1972 during which time he pro-
vided leadership and inspiration to the Bureau, and
WHEREAS, John W. Curran, Jr. has resigned as Director of the Richfield
Youth Service Bureau effective May 31 , 1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council hereby expresses
its sincere appreciation to John W . Curran, Jr. for the contribution he gave
to the Richfield community and wishes him success in the future .
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 28th day of
May, 1974.
