RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO
CROWLEY FENCE COMPANY
FOR LABOR AND MATERIAL NECESSARY TO INSTALL CHAIN LINK FENCE FOR SOFTBALL FIELDS AT TAFT PARK

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows;
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Crowley Fence Company, Minneapolis,
Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder meeting specifications for the
installation of chain link fence for softball fields at Taft Park.
2. That the bid of Crowley Fence Company, for the construction of the above
referenced project, at the price contained in their proposal of April 22, 1974, with an
estimated construction cost of $20,717.04, is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between Crowley Fence Company and the City of
Richfield be given Clerk`s File No. C-9528 and be placed on file. That said proposed
contract of said city project is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor and Manager
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for or on behalf of the
City of Richfield and the Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the city seal thereto.
4. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the project fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the some of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved,
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents
to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
