RESOLUTION ORDERING CITY PROJECT 660, AUGSBURG PARK RE-
DEVELOPMENT, AND APPROPRIATING $276,500 FOR CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, in October of 1973, the City of Richfield sold to Hennepin
County certain Augsburg Park land for the construction of a library, and
it was determined appropriate that any cash received on the sale of this
land would be used for relocating the existing facilities in Augsburg
Park; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No, 16.21 appropriated $125,000 of the Special
Revenue Fund monies for park development according to the 1974-1979 Capital
Improvements Progra~;and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the sum of $52,000 of the Revenue
Sharing Fund will also be needed to finance a portion of the Augsburg Park
redevelopment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B~r t:?ze Council of the City of Richfield
that;
1. City Project No. 660, the Augsburg Park redevelopment, is hereby
ordered;
2. The total appropriation for this project be $276,500.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 22nd day of
April, 1974.
