RESOLUTION NO. 5186
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1974 AND 1975 SALARY COMPENSATION PLANS
WHEREAS, Section 2.33 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield
provides that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps
in each grade, the bi-weekly rates in each grade, the method of normal pro-
gression through the pay grade, and the work week in hours for each class
be established by council resolution, and
V~THEREAS, the city administration has prepared pay plans for 1974 and
1975 for the position classifications included in the International Union of
Operating Engineers Local 49 according to the terms of the 1974-75 salary
settlement, and
V~THEREAS, the city administration has established a pay plan for the
supervisory positions of street, park, and sewer foreman for the year 1974, and
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council do and hereby
does establish for the years 1974 and 1975 the following pay plans which are
to be effective on the first day of the pay period closest to January 1 , 1974
and 1975 respectively and subject to the provisions of the personnel rules and
regulations ordinance .
