RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HENNEPTN COUNTY TO REMOVE
TRAFFIC OONTROL DEVICE AT THE INTERSECTION OF CSAH
53 66TH STREET) AND 16TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, the existing traffic ~°ontrol device at the intersect=ion of
CSAH (66th Sty°eet) and :16th Avenue in the City of Richfield no longer
~;onforms to the accepted standards and has been determined to be obsolete
for present application, and
WHEREAS, studies by Hennepin County at this intersection indicates
that traffic volumes fall fa,r below the warrants necessary to install a
traffz.c control. device such as a signal or stop street,.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesata than Hennepin County be authorized to remove such
signal. at the termination o~° the .1973-7~+ school. year.
