1974-5184rRESOLUTION NOa 5184 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1974-79 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM AND THE 1974 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET WHEREAS, a proposed capital improvements program for the periods 1974/79 and a proposed capital improvements .budget for 1974 has been prepared and sub- mitted for review to the planning commission and the city council in accordance with charter requirements, and S~VHEREAS, the city council has received the recommendations and benefit. of review of these proposed do.cuments--by_~h~ planning commission and has itself reviewed these proposalse - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 1974%79 capital improvements program is hereby approved and adopted subject to annual review and revision,. and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 1974 capital improvement budget in the sum of $3, 561, 020 is hereby approved and adopted with full recognition of the fact that the cost estimates are approximate and are subject to engineer's final cost estimates and that all awards of contracts far these projects are subject to necessary hearings and must be approved by the city council in accordance with established laws and practices governing such acti©no and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city manager is hereby authorized. and directed to initiate the procedures which will lead to more formal and detailed consideration of these projects in accordance with the aforumentianed laws and practices .
