WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted on the 25th. day of
March, 19`74 a report has been prepared by Orr-Schel.en-Mayeron & Associates, Inc
(Consulting Engi.neers~ with reference to permanent street surfacing, ornam?nta.l
street lights, concrete curb and gutter and appurtenances thereto and this report
was received by the i;ouncil on April 8, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richf~..eld,
Minnesota:
1, That thy. Council will consider the improvement of the district hereinafter
described in accordance with the report and will consider the assessment of the
property hereinafter described, for benefits from the making of such improvements,
the assessable areas being as follows:
City Project No. 657A - A part of Street Improvement District No~ 7.
That area bounded on the north by '73rd Street, west by East Pleasant
Avenue, south by 74th Street and east by Portland Avenue.
Assessable Area.
Every abutting lot, piece and parcel of land in the area bounded on the
north by 73rd Street, west by East Pleasant Avenue, south by 74th Street
and east by Portland Avenue, and every lot, piece a:nd parcel of land Lying
one half block south of 74th Street from East Pleasant Avenue to Portland
Avenue.
for all. or a portion of the cost of the improvements at an estimated total cost of the
improvements of $353,100.00.
2. A public hearing wi11 be held on Monday, May 13, 1974 at x7:00 p.m. in tree
Council Chambers of the City Hall and the Clerk shall give published notice of sorb
hearing and improvement as required by law.
