RESOLUTION`ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON PERMANENT STREET
SURFACING, ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING AND APPURTENANCES THERETO
CITY PROJECT N0. 657A
(A part of Street Improve-
ment District No. 7)
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
A part of Street Improvement District No. 7. That area bounded on
the north by 73rd Street, west by East Pleasant Avenue, south by
71+th Street and east by Portland Avenue -
by permanent street surfacing and ornamental street lighting and appu'rtens.nces thereto
and to assess every abutting lot, piece ;and parcel of land in this area and every lot,
piece and parcel of land lying one half block south of 7~+th Street from East Pleasant
Avenue to Portland Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES(?LVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
as follows:

l.~ That the proposed improve~ents,be referred to Orr-Schelen-Ma~eron & Associates,
Inc: (C'onsu~ting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed to report to the Council
with al]. convenient speed, advis~.ng the Council in a preliminary way, as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible, the area to be assessed, and as to whether it should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the improvements listed in this resolution shall hereafter be known as City
Project No. 657A.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction Fund, such
costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the construction of this
project.
