RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO NORTHWEST
BITUMINOUS CO., `INC., MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, FOR PERMANENT
STREET SURFACING, AREAS NOS. 6 AND 1.3.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of tb.e City of Ri,chf.ield, Minnesota, as
follows:
l.. That it is hereby determined that the bi.d of Northwest Bituminous Co., Inc.,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for the construction
of City Project No. 657, permanent street; surfacing, Areas Nos. 6 and 13.
2. That the bid of Northwest Bituminous Co., Inc. for the construction of the
above referenced project on a unit price basis, at the price contained in their proposal
of March 15, .197I+, .pith an estimated construction cost. of $2,.11.0,635.00 is hereby
accepted.
3. That the proposed contract .between Northwest Bituminous Co., Inc. and the City
of Richfeeld be given Clerk's File No. and be placed on file. That said proposed
contract fog the construction of said city project is hereby approved and adopted and
the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for
or on beha,l.f of the City of Richfield and the Clerk i.s authorized and directed to
affix the city seal thereto.
I+. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall, be charged
against the Construction Fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents
to the unsuccessful, bidders upon execution of said proposed contract.
Adopted by the City Council this 25th day of March, 197+.
