WP:ER~AS, Resolutions Nos. 5086 and 5138 appropriated funds for each department of
the city for the year `1974 and
W~E'I'dvAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the General Fund for various
purposes, including the '1974 salary adjustments and the related fringe benefit contribu-
t;~.ons and
WI±'EREAS, Ordinance Bill 197322, amending Ordinance Section 12.02, Subdivision (1),
adjusted t'rze salary of the mayor and council., and it has been determined that it is
necessary to adjust the 1974 budget appropriation $7,043.00 to reflect such. adjustment;
and
WHEREAS, R.esolufiQn No. 5147 established the 1974 pay plan for management position
classificat:lo•ns with:~n the police division of the Department of Public. Safety, and it
is necessary to adjust the 1974 budget appropriation $11,166,00 to reflect such settle-
ment9 and
WHEREAS, Resolution. No, 5"157 established the 1974 pay plan for general services
employees, and it is necessary to adjust the 1974 budget appropriation $32,849.00 to
reflect such settlement; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5158 established the 1974 pay plan for management position
classifr.cations within the fire division of the Department of Public Safety, and on
February 11, 1974 the council approved the 1974 contract for International Association
of Fire Fighters, 1,ocal 1215, establishing the fire fighters 1974 pay plan, and it is
necessary to adjust the 1974 budget appropriation $37,606.00 to reflect such settlement;
and
GTHEREAS, Resolutions Nos. 5168 and 5169 established the 1974 pay plan for the city
manager and certain management positions of the various departments of the cify, and it
is necessary to adjust the 1974 budget appropriation $22,370.00 to reflect such adjustments;
N~?W, `1'HE~.EFORE, BE I'I' RESOI,V'ED by the City Council of the City of Richfield that the
sum of $111,034.00 be transferred from the contingency appropriation of the General Fund
to the following departmentso
