RESOLUTION RELAT.T_NG TO BENEFITS FOR
POLICE CAPTAINS, LIEUTENANTS AND SERGEAI\TTS
WHEREAS the City Manager has concluded discussion with Police Captains,
LieutE:nants and Sergeants concerning wages and worl~ing conditions for 1973

~,'1THEREAS, these discussions resulted in an understanding that ce,~tain
benefits would be granted for 1973,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the City Council do and hereby
does establish for the year 1973 the following benefits for police captains r
lieutenants , and sergeants to be effective on the first day of the pay period

closest to January 1, 1973.
1. A clothing allowance in the amount of $150.00
2. College incentive pay as provided in the Memorandt.Lm of Contract
between the Ciiy of Richfield and the Richfield Police Officers
Federation signed on May 23, 1973.
3. Overtime pay for police sergeants to be compensated for at time and
one-half the employees regular base rate.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 10th day of
