RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISION OE 1973 EUDGET OF VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos, 4858 and 4874 appropriated funds for personal services,
other expenses and capital outlays for each. department of the city for
the year 1973; and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos. 4893, 4912A, 4924, 4929, 4975, 5001 and 5003 made appro-
priations from the 1973 Contingency Account to various departments; and
WHEREAS, The City Charter, Chapter 7, Section 7.09, gives the council authority
to transfer unencumbered appropriation balances from one office, depart-
ment or agency to another within the same fund at the request of the city
manager; and
WHEREAS, The city manager has requested a revision of the 1973 budget appropriations
in accordance with Charter provisions and as detailed in the proposed 1974
budget document; and
WHEREAS, Federal revenue sharing regulations require that the use of federal Revenue
Sharing funds be appropriated in the same manner that the city would ordin-
a.rily appropriate its own general revenues:
NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield as
follows:
Section 1. That the 1973 appropriations for each department of the General fund and
the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund be revised as follows:
