BE I`1' RESOT~I~B~ by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as followso
1. 'c`hat the city clc::°'gr, has, with the assistance of the city engineer9 calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for street improvement and oiling, City Project No.
626, against every assessable lot, piece, or p,s.rcel. of land. specially benefited thereby
in accordance with the pro:ri s:~.or~:~ of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was
filed with the city clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was
open to public inspection during said period,
2. y'hat notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required. by la~,r so that this council could meet and pass upoxz the proposed assessment.
3. `fhat an opportunity has '!seen given to all interested persons to present their
objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.

4. '.lh.at the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Igo. 626 and
after carefully cons~.d.ering all the f.acts9 the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of
land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined and hereby declares
that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment
roll was impr®ved by reason of the completion of said City Project No. 6268 and has been
and is specially benefited in the amoa~nt set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite
each such, lot, piece or parcel of land.
5. ~.'k~.e proposed tota7~ assessment in the amount of $29,258.88 is hereby affirmed,
adopted and confirmed and the sums firmed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted and confirmed a.s the proper special assessment for each of said lots,
pieces, o~° parcels of wand respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified
by the city clerk and filed in his office, anal shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said street improvement and oilix~.g program, City Project No® 626,
7. Z`he assessment with accruing interest4 shall. be,~. lien upon the property inm
eluded therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual
installments extenda.ng over a period of 3 years. 'Phe first installment shall be pay
able on the first Monday in January of 1974. fill assessments shall bear interest at the
rate of 8°Ia per annum, ~'o the first installment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1939 to each subsequent
installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
All assessments and interest t;'hereon shall be c®llected and paid=over in the same
~nanuer as other municipal ta~zes.
